The Teacher Gloria Omololu Institute (Omololu) was founded in 1994 by Dr. Oluwakemi M Linda Banks, clinical psychologist, human resource development consultant, communication specialist and educator and is named after Dr. Banks' sister, Gloria Cassandra Banks Harrigan, a model teacher, who epitomized the characteristics of TGOI. Teacher Gloria's sunset was the result of a tragic accident in 1987.
