The
Teacher Gloria Omololu Institute (Omololu) was founded
in 1994 by Dr. Oluwakemi M Linda Banks, clinical
psychologist, human resource development consultant,
communication specialist and educator. It is named after
Dr. Banks' sister, Gloria Cassandra Banks Harrigan, a
model teacher, who epitomized the characteristics of
TGOI. Teacher Gloria lost her life in a tragic accident
in 1987.
Omololu's purpose is to maximize the human potential of
children in the most formative stage of their lives and
to produce well adjusted citizens for Anguilla, in
particular, and for the world at large. In this first
phase of its development the school provides education
for children from eighteen months to twelve years
